arches and metatarsal discomfort. You can have it all–support, a sense of confidence,
and your own style!
This collection features footwear with a cushioned forefoot or anatomical footbed, a wider toe box, and laces so that you can adjust them to provide extra depth.
- High-arched feet have an arch (the cavity on the bottom of the foot) that runs from the toes to the heel on the bottom of your foot. As a result, less of the surface of the foot is weight-bearing resulting in increased stress on the heel and the ball of the foot. The high-arched foot results in stress on the soft tissues of the foot and lower leg and can cause pain in the ankle, knees, hips, and lower back.
- A high instep (the top part of your foot) means that your foot generally has more volume. This extra volume takes up more space inside your shoe, which is why it is important to look for deep shoes.
- Metatarsalgia is a condition in which your forefoot (the ball of your foot) becomes painful and inflamed.
While we make every attempt to suggest the best shoe for your needs, these suggestions should not replace the opinion of your physician, podiatrist or pedorthist.
