Where is Strada?  We are located at 108 Main Street in Northampton.  (We moved out of Thornes and into the former Ann August/Mercantile space in 2017).  We are across the street from Urban Outfitters, between CVS and Caldwell Bankers Real Estate.

Where are your shoes made? Our collection of footwear is hand finished in the U.S., Portugal, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, Spain, Israel, Mexico and the Netherlands.  Many of our brands are handcrafted by 2nd and 3rd generations in their original factories. 

What type of shoes do you sell?  Strada features cutting edge to classic styles for work and play, all carefully selected for their attention to detail, quality and comfort.  Many of our styles are fully adjustable and orthotic friendly. We believe that you don't have to compromise comfort for style.

Why shop at Strada?  As a traditional "Sit and Fit" Strada believes some customer service traditions are timeless. From measuring your feet, consulting about style, counseling about concerns, to suggesting a selection of carefully chosen shoes to meet your needs we hope you enjoy your experience.  And if you already know exactly what you want to buy, that works great too!

Why is fit important? A properly fitting shoe allows you to feel more comfortable, improves posture and gait, makes your shoes last longer, and helps avoid some foot issues.  

What are your prices?  Our prices reflect manufacturers suggested retail prices so we're competitive with online pricing, with the added benefit of years of experience and expertise. Our shoes range from $95 to $395 and we offer lay-a-way (in-store) and Afterpay (on-line).

What sizes do you carry? Women's sizes 37-41 (42 when available).

What payments do you accept? We accept cash, all major credit cards, Strada gift cards, and Northampton gift cards (in-store only).

Anything else I should know? Most of our shoes are refurbishable.  While we offer shoe shine services (and waterproofing upon request) we suggest using NuSole or a local cobbler for refurbishing.
